PRA’s Health & Safety Guidelines

Guidelines as of August 27th, 2021 and will be updated as needed based on official recommendations

PRA is committed to the health and safety of its employees, field staff, suppliers, partners, clients and program attendees. Based on guidance from the US Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and state governments, PRA is working diligently with supplier-partners across all service categories to develop specifics health + safety protocols. These protocols will remain flexible and continue to evolve as mandates and guidelines are updated from the above-mentioned government entities. Additional state and local guidelines may alter or supersede some protocols due to additional policies in those locations.

PRA Health & Safety Protocols:

• PRA staff will wear a face mask in all working situations. 

• PRA staff to certify daily before work begins to ensure they are not exhibiting symptoms of illness.  PRA staff will be prohibited from operating a program if symptoms are present.

• PRA supervisors to monitor staff daily for signs/symptoms of COVID-19 and other illnesses. If signs/symptoms are present, staff will be sent home and containment procedures will be activated.

• All program onsite Health & Safety kits will include EPA approved human coronavirus disinfectant and disposable towels for cleaning purposes. Pre-packaged disinfectant wipes are also approved. All used towels will be disposed of immediately and sealed.  Kits will also include hand sanitizer of at least 60% alcohol for PRA staff use only.

• All hard-good items provided for a program will be cleaned before and after each function with EPA approved human coronavirus disinfectant.

• All PRA staff have been trained in clean hygiene practices and accurate information about COVID-19, how it spreads and risk of exposure and containment and contract tracing protocols.

• All supplier contracts reflect the most current OSHA, CDC, EPA and FDA regulations (if applicable) and pass PRA’s Health & Safety certification process.

• Onsite Emergency Action Plans have been updated to include pandemic incidents and procedures to follow for containment.
